In 1963, after graduating from Georgia Tech and serving six years in military service, Lon began his career with L.C. Alexander Grading and Paving Co., as the second generation Alexander in the company. In those 51 years, he has held every position within the company from laborer to corporate officer. In 1965, the company was reorganized as Alexander Contracting Co., Inc, with Lon serving as President of the corporation. Over the years Lon has served on several local boards to include SunTrust Bank and the Country Club of Columbus. Lon is now ACCI's Chairman of the Board and semi-retired.

Lonnie is the third generation of Alexander's to lead ACCI. He began his full time career with ACCI in 1985 after leaving Auburn University and has had hands on experience in every aspect of the company, from equipment operator to corporate officer. This hands on experience has afforded him the experience and understanding necessary to relate to both his employees and customers and to be a successful leader as President of ACCI. His belief that if you "Do what you say you're going to do from day one and respect the clients project as if it were your own" has earned him the respect of ACCI's customers. Lonnie currently serves on the board for the GHCA and the Boys and Girls Club.

James O. Kelly - Vice President Operations/Equipment Manager
James has 30 years’ experience with Alexander Contracting Company, Inc. based in Columbus, GA in earthwork site development, highway construction, and large equipment purchasing and maintenance. He provides leadership for on-job location operations and equipment management. He makes critical decisions concerning development, construction, employment, staffing, safety, and equipment (inventory, repair, purchasing) for daily operations. He also negotiates with outside vendors and sub-contractors. His career knowledge and experience involves residential, commercial, industrial, government, institutional, and military infrastructures as well as state and federal highway construction. James directs to completion the services needed for these infrastructures and meets with other leaders in the company for planning and setting goals in order to provide quality customer service and promote company growth.

Raines Jordan - Vice President/Chief Financial Officer
Raines Jordan - Vice President/Chief Financial Officer

Raines' was a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia from September 1987 until December, 2013. He received his BA in Accounting from Columbus State University and his Master of Tax Accounting from the University of Alabama. He has served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Alexander Contracting Co., Inc. since October, 1996. Raines has twenty-six years of experience in all phases of construction accounting, tax preparation, job costing and financial analysis. He is married to Sally Jordan and they have three children and five grandchildren. rjordan@alexandercontractingco.com
